These Terms of Purchase outline the key information you need to know when shopping with Powerhouse Designs Co., including Made-to-Order pieces, sizing, shipping, cancellations, returns, and refunds. Our hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM AST (Atlantic Standard Time).

Please review these terms carefully before placing your order. By completing your purchase, you confirm that you have read and understood the information below. 

MADE-TO-ORDER PIECES

Certain Made-to-Order pieces may require components or specifications to be created, altered, or sourced specifically for an individual order. This may include, but is not limited to, custom cup fittings, custom mesh shades, or other components produced or modified specifically for the Customer.

By purchasing a Made-to-Order piece, the Customer acknowledges and accepts the production time frame stated on the product page.

Where a production period of two (2) weeks is specified, the Customer agrees to allow the full two-week period for the piece to be produced. The production period begins once the order has been successfully placed.

Because these pieces are produced specifically to fulfil an individual order, Made-to-Order pieces requiring custom components are final sale and are not eligible for returns, refunds, or exchanges.

Customers are therefore strongly encouraged to contact Powerhouse at support.pwh@gmail.com with any questions regarding sizing, fit, measurements or custom specifications before placing an order.

Once production has begun, no modifications may be made to the order.

Orders Containing Made-to-Order and Ready-to-Ship Pieces

Where a Made-to-Order piece is purchased together with an item that is already available for dispatch, all items in the order will be shipped together in a single package once the Made-to-Order piece has been completed and the complete order is ready for dispatch.

This applies to both domestic orders within Trinidad & Tobago and international orders.

Customers who purchase a ready-to-ship item together with a Made-to-Order piece acknowledge that the ready-to-ship item will be held until the Made-to-Order piece is completed.

The applicable Made-to-Order production timeframe will therefore determine when the complete order is dispatched.

Customers are responsible for reviewing the production timeframe and any applicable custom specifications displayed on the relevant product page before placing an order.

SIZE SELECTION

The Customer is responsible for selecting the appropriate size before completing a purchase.

Powerhouse provides sizing information and a size and mesh colourway guide to assist with this decision. Customers are strongly encouraged to review the size and mesh colourway guide, model height, model sizing, and any other fit information provided on the relevant product page.

If you are uncertain about sizing or fit, we encourage you to contact Powerhouse at support.pwh@gmail.com before placing your order. Our team will be pleased to provide guidance where possible.

By completing a purchase, the Customer acknowledges that they have selected their size at their own discretion. Powerhouse cannot accept responsibility for an incorrect size selected by the Customer.

SHIPPING & DELIVERY

Trinidad & Tobago

Orders being delivered within Trinidad & Tobago are shipped through TTPost within forty-eight (48) hours of purchase.

Domestic orders are typically delivered within two (2) to four (4) business days from dispatch. Delivery timeframes are estimates and may vary depending on the destination, carrier operations, public holidays, or circumstances beyond Powerhouse’s control.

International Orders

International orders containing items that are ready for dispatch are generally dispatched through FedEx within forty-eight (48) hours of purchase.

For Made-to-Order pieces, the applicable production period stated on the product page will apply before dispatch.

International delivery times vary according to destination and are subject to the applicable FedEx delivery schedule, customs procedures, clearance requirements, and other circumstances affecting international transportation.

Customs, Duties & Taxes

International Customers acknowledge that shipments may be subject to customs duties, import taxes, brokerage fees, clearance charges, or other fees imposed by the destination country.

All customs duties, taxes, fees, and other charges imposed by the destination country are the sole responsibility of the Customer.

Powerhouse is not responsible for delays arising from customs processing, inspections, clearance procedures, or other matters outside of our reasonable control.

ORDER CANCELLATIONS

Cancellation requests must be submitted to Powerhouse at support.pwh@gmail.com by email within one (1) hour of the order being placed.

Once the one-hour cancellation period has elapsed, cancellation requests may no longer be accepted and the order will proceed through processing.

For Made-to-Order pieces, the additional restrictions set out under Made-to-Order Pieces apply. Once production has commenced, the order cannot be cancelled or modified.

Made-to-Order pieces requiring custom components are final sale and cannot be returned, refunded, or exchanged.

Customers are therefore encouraged to review their order carefully, including product selection, size, custom specifications, shipping details, and delivery address, before completing their purchase.

EXCHANGES

In order to preserve the integrity of each piece and maintain our standards of quality and inventory control, Powerhouse does not offer exchanges at this time.

Customers are encouraged to carefully review all product information, including sizing and fit, before placing an order.

RETURNS & REFUNDS

Powerhouse accepts returns on eligible items where the requirements set out in these Terms have been fully satisfied.

Powerhouse reserves the right to withhold any refund until the returned item has been received and inspected.

Where a return satisfies all applicable requirements, the refund will be processed in accordance with Powerhouse’s applicable refund procedures.

The timing of funds appearing in the Customer’s account may vary depending on the Customer’s payment provider or financial institution.

Made-to-Order pieces requiring custom components are not eligible for return or refund. This includes, but is not limited to, pieces requiring custom cup fittings, custom mesh shades, or other components created, altered, or sourced specifically for the individual order.

All other eligible returns are subject to inspection upon receipt. To protect the quality, condition, and presentation of every Powerhouse piece, an approved return must be received in the same condition in which it was originally dispatched.

EU Customers — Order Cancellations and Returns

For customers located in the European Union, orders may be cancelled before the order has been fulfilled, which is within forty-eight (48) hours of placing the order. Once an order has been fulfilled, it may no longer be cancelled.

Return Conditions

All returned items must:

• Be returned within seven (14) business days, starting from delivery of the order

• Be in full original condition as received.

• Be unworn and unused.

• Be free from damage, alterations, washing, repairs, or tampering.

• Have all original tags and labels attached and intact.

• Include the original ribbon and box packaging.

• Include the Powerhouse brand card.

• Include the original return label, where applicable.

• Be clean and completely free from perfume, fragrance, smoke, body odour, or any other scent.

Items that do not meet these requirements may be deemed ineligible for return.

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the Customer

Customers are responsible for ensuring that returned items are securely packaged and shipped in accordance with the return instructions provided by Powerhouse.

Powerhouse is not responsible for items lost or damaged while being returned to us.

Returns that do not meet requirements

Every returned item is carefully inspected upon receipt.

If a returned item does not satisfy the conditions outlined in these Terms, Powerhouse reserves the right to decline the return and withhold the refund.

Where a return is declined, Powerhouse will notify the Customer and provide instructions regarding the return of the item.

Any costs associated with reshipping an item following a declined return will be the responsibility of the Customer.

The Customer acknowledges that it is their responsibility to ensure that all return conditions have been satisfied before sending an item to Powerhouse.

CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITY

Before completing an order, Customers are responsible for reviewing:

• The product description and specifications.

• The applicable size and fit information.

• Whether the item is Made-to-Order or ready for dispatch.

• The applicable production time frame for Made-to-Order pieces.

• Whether the piece requires any custom components or specifications.

• Shipping and delivery information.

• The Customer’s delivery address and contact information.

• These Terms of Purchase.

By completing a purchase with Powerhouse Designs Co., the Customer confirms that the information provided is accurate and that they acknowledge and agree to the these Terms of purchase.
